2000 Alberta Regeneration Survey Database

An easy-to-use database system to record and report your 2000 Alberta Regeneration Survey results.

Nov 1, 2000 - On May 1, 2000 the Alberta Government introduced the new 2000 Regeneration Survey Manual to replace the 1991 standard for regeneration surveys in the province. This new manual can be found on Alberta Sustainable Resource Development's website (see side-bar for link).

The Regen Manager has been created and field tested under this new standard and has been designed to conform with the new plot card and reporting requirements set out in the 2000 Regeneration Survey Manual. The program's intention is to provide accurate recording and results presentation through an easy-to-use data-entry system.

Data-entry forms have been created to match the 2000 Regeneration Survey Plot Card so that transposition of data from your field cards to the database is made simple.


Micro-Loan Fund Manager

A complete solution to administer investments and disbursements of your community development funds.

Aug 30, 2000 - After researching several existing micro-lending software packages available in Canada and the United States, the Edmonton Community Loan Fund (ECLF) failed to find a complete system that addressed their loan portfolio's needs.

Specifically, no single existing package was found that could adequately:

  • Maintain separate records of funding from different sources,
  • Maintain records of private investors' accruing interest accounts,
  • Apply Canadian semi-annual interest to loan calculations, nor
  • Support different account types, including loan, credit and mortgage accounts.
As a result, and with the support of The Muttart Foundation, the Edmonton Community Loan Fund and Arctech Solutions have developed the Micro-Loan Fund Manager System designed specifically for Canadian Micro-Lenders.

The goal of this software solution is to specifically address the requirements of the Canadian Micro-Lender at a nominal cost.
